I’ve been sitting with a question lately.

What is actually special about a new year?

We say we want more money.
We say we want freedom.
We say we want a sustainable income and a life we don’t feel trapped inside.

Yet year after year, many of us stay in the same place.

So why?

I’ve narrowed it down to two possibilities.

Either we don’t know how.
Or we don’t truly want to.

And if I’m being honest, “not knowing how” has never really been the problem.

Information is everywhere.
Resources are everywhere.
Frameworks, playbooks, courses, threads, videos — all of it exists.

The real problem is action.

Putting yourself out there.
Making mistakes publicly.
Starting before you feel ready.
Moving without a perfect roadmap.

That’s what most of us avoid.

So this year, I’m choosing differently.

2026 is the year I build this brand — Wisdom Journey — deliberately and out in the open.

Here’s what that looks like.

First, I’ll be doing business breakdowns.
Not hype pieces.
Not motivational fluff.

Real businesses.
Broken down clearly.
The pros people love to talk about.
And the cons people usually hide.

Because yes, almost anyone can make money in almost any business.
But not every business is right for you.
And clarity beats excitement every single time.

Second, I’m going all in on what I’m building.
No half-commitments.
No “maybe I’ll try.”

More experiments.
More tests.
More things working.
More things failing.
And sharing the process as it unfolds.

Third, I’ll be spotlighting real side hustles.
Real people.
Real numbers.
Real stories.

No fake screenshots.
No overnight success narratives.
Just honest case studies, without the gloss.

Somewhere along the way, I realized something important.

What I’m really building is a media business.

And that means I have to show up.
I have to post.
I have to experiment loudly instead of hiding quietly.

So I’m approaching content this year not as someone who has it all figured out,
but as someone willing to figure it out in public.

To move faster, I need to do more.
So that’s exactly what I’m committing to.
