Simple doesn’t mean easy

The work isn’t complex — the repetition is.

Sometimes the hardest part of building a business isn’t the work.
It’s accepting that it’s simpler than we want it to be.

We watch someone explain what they do —
“I do this. Then I do this. Then I get paid.”
And our instinct is to reject it.
It feels too simple to be true.

But simple doesn’t mean easy.

There’s a quote I keep coming back to:
“It gets easier, but you have to do it every day.”

That’s the real complexity.
Showing up daily.
Repeating the boring parts.
Sticking with the same simple actions long enough for them to compound.

As the year winds down, I’m both excited and nervous.
This month, I’ve made a few sacrifices.
It feels like jumping off a cliff while stitching together a parachute on the way down.
I’m building as I fall — and trusting I’ll land.

One quick note: the PodMatch course I promised is ready.
If you’re interested, just reply to this email and I’ll send you the link.
If not, no worries at all.

I’ll see you next Monday.
