You’re Not Out of Ideas — You’re Just Not Mining Your Life
Stop asking “what should I post?” Start asking this instead.
Hey,
If you’ve ever stared at a blank page and thought,
“I don’t know what to post. I don’t have it yet,”
this is for you.
I’ve realized something important on this journey.
The real problem isn’t a lack of ideas.
It’s that we’re looking outside our lives instead of inside them.
When ideas aren’t rooted in lived experience, they feel flat.
They sound forced.
They feel like performance instead of truth.
And people can tell.
That’s why My Million Story isn’t about pretending to be ahead.
It’s about documenting what’s real, what’s learned, and what’s unfolding.
Here’s the simple framework I now use to mine ideas — every single week.
No guessing. No pretending.
Just life → insight → content.
The Weekly Life Mining Framework
Ask yourself these questions:
What did I actually do this week?
Work done. Attempts made. Conversations had. Wins. Mistakes. What did I read, watch, or listen to?
A book, podcast, video, article, or even a tweet. What’s my honest opinion about it?
Not a summary. Your reaction. What annoyed you? What surprised you? What did I learn from it?
One clear takeaway. No overthinking. What realization did I come to?
Something shifted. A belief cracked. A new perspective formed. What lesson does this point to?
The thing you’d tell your past self. What question did I have this week that I now have an answer to?
Even partial answers count.
A Simple Mnemonic to Remember It: L.I.V.E.D.
If you want this to stick, remember just one word: LIVED
L — Lived experience: What did I actually do this week?
I — Input: What did I consume? (book, video, conversation, idea)
V — View: What’s my honest opinion about it?
E — Enlightenment: What did I learn or realize?
D — Direction: What lesson, answer, or next step came out of it?
If you can answer LIVED, you have content.
Every time.
The Conversation Multiplier
Here’s a move most people skip.
Call one person.
Not to interview them.
Not to extract value.
Just to talk.
Tell them what you did this week.
What confused you.
What you’re testing.
What you’re trying to build.
Record the call if you can.
Then mine it:
One episode from the full conversation
Multiple clips from key moments
Posts from questions you asked out loud
Lessons you didn’t even realize you had until you said them
This is real energy. Real voice. Real content.

Why This Works
Because authenticity isn’t a buzzword.
It’s lived proof.
When content comes from experience:
it has weight
it has clarity
it has conviction
You’re not “teaching from theory.”
You’re sharing from understanding.
That’s what My Million Story is about.
Not just starting a remote business.
But building an independent life.
One decision, one lesson, one honest story at a time.
If you ever feel stuck, don’t ask:
“What should I post?”
Ask:
“What did I live this week?”
That’s where the million stories are hiding.
